Observing Shift Deletion and Restoration
To see a visual demonstration of deleting and restoring shifts in OneClick, watch the provided video. It showcases the simplicity and efficiency of the interface.
The following is a transcript of the video generated by a computer. The wording may be different.
[00:01] Everyone, this is Kevin from OneClick. In this video, we're going to go over how to delete someone or take them off of the shift, as well as to restore them back if you accidentally deleted them, or you do actually need them in this case, or whatever. This is part of the custom shift series, where we can add custom shifts or whatever through OneClick rather than through HotSchedules.
[00:23] So, in this case, I'm going to take Addison, and we actually don't need her. We already created her shift in the previous video. So, I can go in, and I'm basically just going to uncheck that area selector. So, in this case, I do that, and you can see that she went away. When I go into Addison's shift, you can see here I can restore that. Now, notice how it is an OCA General, so that means that I created that, in this case in the previous video. That means it's a custom made shift. So, in this one, we're going to have to click on Edit and assign them to their front of house, where if I did that for this Wednesday shift, I went in, took them off, deleted it, and I restored it back, they would automatically be already checked.
[01:13] So, in this case, we'll go back, and we'll see that Addison is at the top there with that custom shift that we made, where if I take, let's say, Caleb as the example, go in, click off of that, take them off, come back in, go to Caleb, I can restore that, and I don't need to go into the Edit and add there because they're already had front of house general, and so that automatically means that they're part of that area selector there, where if Addison, because she is an OCA General, means that she's a custom shift, it's not going to automatically put them there, and so you'll have to do that by default.
[01:56] Or I can just delete the shift outright, and then when I try and go into Addison's shift, there's not a way for me to restore it because it never existed in the first place. But you can only do that for custom shifts, so I can't delete this one because it's from HotSchedules, where the one that I did make doesn't exist anymore because I deleted it.
